Quicktype mutation assays are constantly reliable test systems for molecular diagnostics that combine allele-specific PCR and agarose gel electrophoresis. By use of an integrated probe hybridisation, we guarantee a high assay confidence. The Quicktype technology offers special advantages in its ease of use and the low costs of the equipment required. For the fast and sensitive microbiological diagnosis we provide the DNA-LINA pathogen detection assays. By use of PCR, pathogen specific gene fragments and an internal amplification control become amplified and then reversely hybridised to probes on a test strip, enabling semi-quantitative pathogen detection in a sample. The use of specific primers and probes within an optimised universal application protocol ensures the needed test specificity, at highest sensitivity levels of 10 - 100 gene copies. Realtime1 pathogen detection assays for microbiological diagnostics are based on our patented LoopTag technology. In each reaction one pathogen specific gene fragment and an internal standard become amplified simultanously and can be detected in a LightCycler2. With this sensitive procedure less than 10 genome equivalents can be detected in a sample. [more Information]
ANA-Bead Assays3 can be used to detect patient’s antibodies against “Extractable Nuclear Antigens” (ENA). Fluorescently-encoded bead populations carrying the different ENA on their surface are immobilised on the bottom of ELISA cavities. The microtiter modules can be processed by the use of an ELISA automate. [more information]
The patented Microblots4 and µLINA1 for serological confirmation testing are the basis of two test panels for the diagnosis of infectious and autoimmune diseases. The tests are miniaturised strip tests with comparable sensitivity and specificity of Western blots. Integration of microblots and µLINA into the cavities of microplates permits the automated processing of these tests by the use of ELISA automation as well as software-based test evaluation. [more information]
The serological determination of patient’s antibodies for the purpose of differential diagnosis of peripheral neuropathies and anti-phospholipid syndrome respectively, can be performed by use of antibody-LINA strip tests. It is possible to detect IgG or IgM antibodies directed against different glyco- and phospholipid antigens, respectively. [more information]
Our products are IVD CE-certified in compliance with the directive 98/79/EC on in vitro medical devices.
